Reps are promoting a new proton pump inhibitor called Kapidex (dexlansoprazole). It's just the R-isomer of Prevacid (lansoprazole).

Reps will point out that Kapidex releases the drug in two phases...to prolong its acid-suppressant effect.

But outcomes are similar with all the PPIs.
